Special Issue – 20 Years of the Constitution of the DRC (February 18, 2006, amended by Law No. 11/002 of January 20, 2011) Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Human Rights in Central Africa (CRIDHAC)

1. Objet / Purpose

À l’occasion du vingtième anniversaire de la Constitution de la République Démocratique du Congo, le CRIDHAC lance un appel à contribution pour un numéro spécial de sa revue. Ce numéro analysera vingt ans de vie constitutionnelle, en mettant en lumière les acquis, les défis et les perspectives de réforme.

On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo, CRIDHAC invites submissions for a special issue of its journal. This issue will analyze twenty years of constitutional life, highlighting achievements, challenges, and prospects for reform.

2. Thématiques / Themes

• Évolution institutionnelle et exercice du pouvoir d’État/ Institutional evolution and the exercise of state power
• Protection des droits et libertés fondamentaux/ Protection of fundamental rights and freedoms
• Justice constitutionnelle et rôle de la Cour constitutionnelle/ Constitutional justice and the role of the Constitutional Court
• Décentralisation et gouvernance locale/ Decentralization and local governance
• Intégration régionale et influence du droit international/ Regional integration and the influence of international law
• Perspectives de réforme et consolidation démocratique/ Prospects for reform and democratic consolidation

3. Modalités de soumission / Submission Guidelines

• Langues / Languages : français, anglais
• Résumé / Abstract : 300 mots maximum / maximum 300 words, avant 05 mars 2026/before March 05
• Article complet / Full paper : 6 000–8 000 mots / words, avant 30 mars / before March 30 march, 2026
• Format : Times New Roman, taille 12, interligne 1,5 ; références APA/Chicago

4. Évaluation / Review Process

Les articles seront évalués en double aveugle par le comité scientifique du CRIDHAC.
Papers will be peer-reviewed (double blind) by the CRIDHAC scientific committee.

5. Publication Le numéro spécial paraîtra en avril 2026, en version imprimée et numérique. 
The special issue will be published in April 2026, in both print and digital versions.
